Beginning in UC 0079, The Gundam Series begins with The One Year War. In
this war Amuro and Char will become Rivals. The Earth Federation isn't
all good either.
Escape From Side 7
The assault carrier White Base arrives at the remote Side 7 space
colony to collect the Earth Federation's new prototype mobile suits.
However, the White Base has been detected by a Zeon cruiser commanded by
the cunning Char Aznable, who sends a team of Zaku mobile suits into the
colony. The attackers begin wiping out the Federation defenders, until a
young civilian named Amuro Ray activates the prototype Gundam and
destroys two of the Zakus.

Earth Orbit
An Earth Federation transport ship makes its way towards Earth,
carrying fresh soldiers and supplies to the terrestrial frontlines.
Among its passengers are young officer Shiro Amada and a teenage recruit
named Michel Ninorich. When they spot a mobile suit battle underway in
Earth orbit, Shiro launches in a space pod to assist Federation pilot
Terry Sanders Jr. Shiro's pod and the Zeon mobile suit are both destroyed in the
skirmish, and the two pilots take refuge inside the drifting hulk of a
space warship. Shiro and the Zeon pilot, a young woman named Aina
Sahalin, are forced to work together to contact their allies and escape.

Cyclops Attack
The Principality of Zeon's elite Cyclops Team stage an amphibious
assault on a Federation base in the arctic circle. They quickly overrun
the base defenses, but are unable to prevent the launch of a space
shuttle carrying the Federation's newest prototype Gundam. The shuttle
ascends into space, leaving Cyclops Team commander Steiner Hardy
to mourn the loss of one of his pilots in this failed mission.

Torrington Base
The assault carrier Albion arrives at an Earth Federation base in
Torrington, Australia, bringing with it a pair of new Gundam mobile
suits developed by the civilian company Anaheim Electronics.
However, the Albion's arrival has been anticipated by renegade soldiers
of the Principality of Zeon. Just after the Gundam GP02A is loaded with
a live nuclear warhead from Torrington's arsenal, the Zeon ace pilot
Anavel Gato seizes the mobile suit and flees the base. A young test
pilot named Kou Uraki takes the controls of the Gundam GP01 and sets out
in pursuit of the stolen machine.

Conflict BeginsAn AEUG pilot who calls himself Quattro Bajeena infiltrates the space colony known as Gryps, headquarters of the Earth Federation's dreaded Titans taskforce. Confirming that the Titans are developing new Gundam Mk.II mobile suits, Quattro and his comrades capture some of the machines and then return to the AEUG flagship Argama. They are accompanied by a young civilian named Kamille Bidan, a talented pilot with strong Newtype potential and no love for the Titans. Continue -->

5th Luna
We begin in the middle of the action. Having seized the asteroid 5th
Luna, Neo Zeon intends to push it out of Earth orbit and set it falling
towards the Federation capital in Lhasa, Tibet. As well as disrupting
the Federation government, this operation will be the first step in
Char's master plan - using asteroid impacts to bring about a "nuclear
winter" like the one said to have wiped out the dinosaurs. Earth's
elites will then be forced to flee the frozen planet and join the rest
of the human race in the space colonies.

Crossbone Vanguard
Many years after the devastating One Year War, the Earth Federation has begun constructing new space colonies to replace the former Side 4 cluster. This new Frontier Side now consists of four colonies, among them the Frontier IV colony where young Seabook Arno lives with his father and his sister Reese. Their peaceful lives are disrupted when the colony is attacked by the Crossbone Vanguard, an elite fighting force dedicated to the aristocratic ideals of the Ronah family. Continue --> |
